Tahaa Wedding Ceremony

With a passion for traveling, Stijn and Angela knew they wanted to tie the knot on a beach that give the feeling like they were on vacation. That’s why the two said “I do” on the gorgeous Tahaa Resort and Spa Resort.Tahaa Wedding Ceremony.

They choosed a Polynesian blessing ceremony celebrated on the beach. Then, with the help of planner  the couple’s ceremony was simple yet breathtaking ! Thanks to the natural beauty of French Polynesia ! Under a floral arch, the Master of Ceremony proceeded with the blessing and exchanged of their vows.

During the ceremony, Stijn & Angela were wrapped together with a quilted blanket known as a tifaifai : this signifies that they are now husband and wife.  In the local traditions, the bride and groom receive a Tahitian name as symbol of their union. The ‘tifafai’ (Tahitian quilt) wrapped around the happily married couple will seal the ceremony.

After the wedding, we went all around this beautiful resort to take more couple photos and stunning drone shots.
