A Beautiful Wedding Day in Moorea

We recently photographed this beautiful wedding in Moorea, French Polynesia, on a bright and sunny day surrounded by the lush landscapes of the island.

We began with the couple’s preparations at the place where they were getting married, before heading out into the greener, more secluded parts of Moorea. These are places we have known and photographed for almost 20 years. In fact, some of them were among the very first places we discovered when we started photographing weddings and couples in Moorea.

The island has changed over the years, and so have these locations, but they remain very special to us. We have watched them evolve and have returned to them countless times, always finding something different in the light, the vegetation or the atmosphere.

For this wedding, we continued the day all the way to a private motu, where the ceremony took place surrounded by the ocean and the landscape of Moorea.

I photographed the day together with Samuel, who filmed the wedding, while Julie from WedoTahiti accompanied the couple and helped bring the day together.
