We ve been blessed with a stunning sunrise at this hotel—a rare gift, as the island’s weather can be unpredictable. On some days, the horizon is hidden behind clouds, or a sudden shower dampens the light. But that day was so perfect a pure dream for a moorea photographer.
The sky begins to lighten, a soft gradient of orange, and gold spreading across the horizon. The first rays of the sun peek over the lagoon in the distance, casting a warm, golden hue across the beach. The palm trees stand tall and silhouetted against the glowing sky. The Sofitel Moorea is a truly stunning location, especially at sunrise.
A beautiful setting for dreamy Photos
Nestled along a pristine stretch of white sandy beach, the Sofitel Moorea offers an idyllic blend of luxury and natural beauty. The overwater bungalows, iconic for their thatched roofs and views of the lagoon, are framed perfectly by the island of Tahiti in the distance.
This great couple on honeymoon stands on the beach, their figures softly illuminated by the rising sun. I guided them closer to the water’s edge, where the light is softest, and the sand is untouched. As they walk hand in hand along the shore, I capture each step, each glance they share. The sun climbs higher, casting longer shadows and deepening the colors around us. The soft pinks and oranges of dawn gradually give way to the bright blues of the day.
