As Tahiti-based wedding photographers and videographers, we’ve explored many incredible places across French Polynesia, but The Blue Lagoon in Rangiroa is truly one of the most magical. It’s remote, raw, and perfect for couples looking for something more meaningful than a traditional resort ceremony.
To reach this little paradise, you first have to take a boat from Avatoru village. The journey is part of the experience — sailing through turquoise waters, surrounded by reef and untouched islets, until you reach what feels like a lost world. Once there, you’re greeted by a postcard-perfect landscape: white sand, coconut palms, and an ocean so blue it looks surreal.
We spent the morning capturing Lisa and Marty’s love story with soft light, pure emotion, and the sound of the ocean as their soundtrack. And from the sky, Samuel from Flying World Pictures used the drone to reveal the stunning scale of the location — a true visual poem, blending nature and love from above.
